Hanna Institute courses meet the qualifications for continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, and/or LPCCs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Hanna Institute is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, and/or LPCCs. Hanna Boys Center is an approved CEU provider for the California Association for Drug/Alcohol Educators (CAADE). Hanna Institute is a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) approved provider of professional development and grants NASP CPD credit.
Hanna Institute maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. Course completion certificates will be awarded at the end of each course.
Participants who complete the 5-course series below will earn a Certificate in Trauma-informed Care. The courses are available individually:
- Trauma Informed Care 101 (4 hours)
- Trauma Informed Care 102 (4 hours)
- Intro to Psychological First Aid (6 hours)
- Trauma-Sensitive Mind-Body Based Practices (6 hours)
- Skills For Psychological Recovery (12 hours)
Additional courses have been developed for MCLE credit and are pending approval by the State Bar of California.
